Carrie Beachey is a muralist and mixed media artist living in Middlebury, Indiana with her husband and their two children.
How she feels about art in praising God is unusual and poignant. She says, "I find many things to be inspirational, but I have learned that God will most often use His own creation when speaking to my soul. To hear the voice of God whispering in a breeze, birds rejoicing in praise; to see the beauty in a field of flowers, and know that their vast number is a reflection of the joy God felt while creating them. This divine inspiration is what my heart craves on a daily basis."

This is Why I Paint
I am a third generation painter. My father is a painter, as was his mother before him. Painting has always played an important role in my life. My training in art came along side life training. I remember learning about points of perspective, and proportions of the human body, just as I remember learning to ride my bike and dancing ballet.
Worship in Art
I know that other artists feel the same spiritual connection that I do while creating. I hear artists talk about it a lot. However, I've noticed that most artists don’t talk about this experience in relationship to Jesus.
