We can see it everywhere in the Bible, from the unfolding of God’s Triune nature to His establishment of His church. God’s design is for teams!

We are quick to label people based on our own personality and standards, and one of the big divides is between those who are people-oriented versus those who are much more task-oriented.

I deeply believe that the culture of your organization matters. The environment you create in your organization is either attracting or repelling. And as leaders, we set the tone for the culture.

Reach out to your community and live. Or, neglect it and die. It’s really that simple.

Remember, it’s not about winning or being right; it’s about God’s glory.

How do we reach across cultural divides? How can we really listen?

A very successful businessman inadvertently taught me a lesson about paying attention to other people’s needs … with macaroni and cheese.

As a biblical leader, I choose to model joy for the people I lead. By choosing to model joy, I hope my colleagues can see “work” and “vocation” as synonyms for joy.

If you want to be the kind of leader whose organization is on the cutting edge, stop asking for someone to give you an answer you already know. Great leaders have the courage to act!

Being a leader approved by God is different from being a leader put in a position by God. Sometimes, when God is training a spiritual leader, He will let us fall on our faces because we can see Him better from that position.

Immature believers abound, and that’s all right. Babies must complete all stages of development before they achieve maturity. But we should never put an infant in a place of leadership. Leaders must be adults in the faith if they are to be role models and examples to those coming after.

Tom’s church tried a unique way of reaching out to their church’s community. We gave each of our members attending a loaf of bread and asked them to give the bread to someone in their neighborhood or community.
